摘要:
杨树人工林是江苏北部平原区重要的碳汇资源,其固碳能力对实现区域碳中和目标具有重要作用。该研究基于2024年林木草地湿地调查数据,选取江苏北部5个典型县(区),通过样地调查、器官碳含量测定与固碳量估算,系统评估了杨树人工林的资源结构、固碳特征、采伐林龄及固碳提升潜力。结果显示,研究区杨树林总面积为37 127.0 hm2,龄组结构以中幼龄林为主(合计占比94.93%),密度为490.2—652.5 株/hm2;杨树总固碳量约为107.30万t,其中中龄林贡献最大(64.32万t,占59.94%)。杨树林单位面积年固碳能力随林龄增加呈下降趋势,幼龄林最高[5.5 t/(hm2·a)]。同等经营条件下,通过优选高固碳品种、合理提升造林密度、延迟采伐年龄等协同措施,可有效挖掘区域杨树碳汇潜力,提升幅度超20%。该研究为苏北地区杨树人工林的碳汇导向经营提供了理论依据与实践路径。
Abstract:
Poplar plantations are crucial carbon sink resources in Northern Jiangsu Province,and their carbon sequestration capacity plays a vital role in achieving regional carbon neutrality goals. Based on the 2024 forest-grassland-wetland survey data,five typical counties (districts) in Northern Jiangsu were selected to systematically evaluate the resource structure,carbon sequestration characteristics,harvesting age,and enhancement potential of poplar plantations through plot surveys,organ carbon content determination,and carbon sequestration estimation. The results showed that the total area of poplar plantations in the study area was 37 127.0 hm2,with young-and middle-aged forests dominating the age-class structure (accounting for 94.93% in total) and density range of 490.2—652.5 plants per hm2. The total carbon sequestration of poplar plantations was approximately 1.073 million t, among which middle-aged forests contributed the most (643 200 t, accounting for 59.94%). The annual carbon sequestration capacity per unit area showed a decreasing trend with increasing stand age, with the highest value in young forests [5.5 t/(hm2·a)]. Synergistic measures such as selecting high-carbon-sequestration varieties, appropriately increasing afforestation density, and delaying harvesting age could effectively tap the carbon sink potential of regional poplar plantations, with an improvement of more than 20%. This study provides a theoretical basis and practical pathway for the carbon sink-oriented management of poplar plantations in Northern Jiangsu Province.
